Prime Protein Can Coming to the UK

Prime Protein Can Heading to the UK

Prime is set to bring its canned protein drink to the UK market. The product delivers 32g of protein and 150 calories per can, putting it squarely in the ready-to-drink (RTD) protein category alongside established names like Upbeat and Muscle Milk.

Co-founder KSI took to social media on Saturday 14 March to taste-test the product ahead of the UK launch, signalling that availability is coming soon. The reel, which racked up over 37,000 likes, showed KSI sampling the can under the caption “the moment of truth” — a nod to the brand’s move into the protein market after building its name on hydration drinks.

Three flavours are confirmed: vanilla, chocolate, and cookies and cream. All three sit at 150 calories per can with 32g of protein — a solid macro split for a convenience format. That protein-to-calorie ratio is competitive; most RTD protein cans on the UK market offer between 20g and 25g per serving at similar or higher calorie counts.

Prime already has strong UK retail presence through its hydration range, stocked in supermarkets and sports retailers nationwide. The protein can will likely follow a similar route to market, though no specific retail partners or launch date have been confirmed yet.

Pricing has not been announced just yet.

Keep an eye on Prime’s UK channels for the official release date. Given the brand’s existing distribution network, a wide retail rollout looks probable.
